Kyle Bronson takes checkered flag in second Baltes Classic feature at Eldora Speedway
Kyle Bronson made the long tow to Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) on Friday afternoon to kick off the two-day Hillbilly Hundred with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
With an even 40 Late Models on hand for the event, Bronson grabbed the final transfer spot in his last chance race and finished 18th in the $10,000-to-win opener. On Saturday, Kyle once again grabbed the final A-Main transfer spot but was an early retiree in the 100-lap finale.
Kyle then headed to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) a little early for the American Late Model Iron-Man Series-sanctioned Baltes Classic.
Finishing runner-up in his heat race, Bronson started from the fourth spot in the 25-lap main event and quickly made his move to the front. Kyle took the lead on lap 11 and cruised to the checkered flag over Tanner English and Haiden Cowan. His efforts earned him a $5,000 payday.
