Bronson grabs pair of podium finishes with Lucas Dirt at Eagle Raceaway
Staying out on the road for another week, Kyle Bronson unloaded his Atomic Music Group No. 40B machine at Marshalltown (Iowa) Speedway on Tuesday afternoon for another $20,000-to-win FloRacing Night in America show.
Among a stout 31-car field, Bronson charged from fifth-to-third in his heat race and started 10th in the 50-lap main event before he fell out of the running and did not finish.
Joining the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for the next three days, Kyle was one of 37 Super Late Model drivers at Eagle (Neb.) Raceway for the Malvern Bank High Bank Heist.
Bronson started 11th in the $10,000-to-win opener and charged to a podium finish in third. He trailed Ricky Thornton Jr. and Jonathan Davenport while Devin Moran and Garrett Alberson completed the Top-5.
With another $10,000 preliminary on tap Friday night, Kyle picked up a heat race victory and started from the second-row. Bronson once again drove to a third-place finish on the podium behind Jonathan Davenport and Hudson O'Neal.
Hoping to finish out the weekend on a strong note, Bronson raced his way into the $50,000-to-win finale and recorded a Top-10 finish in 10th.
